I was honored to be a Guest Critic for the ARCH 708 Virtual Environments review/exhibition at the University of Liverpool.

Students modelled the LSA (Liverpool School of Architecture) building and designed an extension to it using Gravity Sketch in Meta Oculus. The 3D models are refined and imported into Unity to develop the virtual walkthrough.

As an alumnus, I was blown away by their creativity— experiencing immersive digital art exhibitions, concepts of time travel, scanned photogrammetry models, interactive block building games and more.

Kudos to all the groups!

A big thanks to Guzden, Asterios, and Mohammed for the invite—it was amazing to be back, inspired by the work, and to reconnect with classmates and fellow critics.

Hope to do this again soon! 😊
